How do I book my first cleaning service?

Visit our booking page and tell us a bit about your home, what services you would like, and provide a credit card to schedule your first booking.

In addition to online booking, you can also call our Customer Service at 619-343-3523 or email us info@zefir.com to schedule a cleaning service or ask us any questions.

How much does a cleaning service cost?

The minimum cost per cleaner’s visit is $35 per hour.
The total price is calculated based on:
• the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you select for cleaning,
• the type of cleaning option you choose,
• additional extras (if any).

We are priced very affordably compared to most cleaning companies. Please see our booking page to get a detailed quote for your exact situation or call us at (626) 552-8099.
All living areas are included in the total price.

Do house cleaners bring the cleaning supplies?

Yes! We provide everything, so you don’t need to worry about supplying anything. Our cleaners will bring all the necessary equipment and cleaning supplies to clean your home.

If you prefer us to use your own vacuum or other supplies, then no problem! Just let us know when making your booking and leave a note in the Special Instructions box.

What areas do you serve?

We currently do house cleaning in Los Angeles County and in the surrounding areas.

We also provide house cleaning services in Long Beach and in Bakersfield.

What is included in a cleaning service?

Can someone come and clean my house on weekends?

Our cleaning service is available 7 days a week!

Do I have to be home when you clean?

No, you do not have to be home when the cleaning crew arrives to clean your house. The pleasure of coming home to beautifully clean premises after a long day at work is an experience you should treat yourself to!

 

Just tell us how our cleaners can gain entry in the Special Instructions box when you make your booking. Most customers leave a key under the mat, with their concierge, or in a lockbox so that we can get in and out of their home for the cleaning service when they are not home. Our teams are very trustworthy and will be sure to lock up afterwards and leave the key where we found it.

How long will it take for a cleaning service crew to clean my home?

Each appointment takes roughly between 2-4 hours, longer for larger and more complex orders.

What hours do you clean?

Our first cleaning of the day starts between 7:00-8:00 AM and the last arrival is between 2-4 PM. Please note this represents the arrival window, not the cleaning duration. If you require a more precise arrival time please let us know when making your booking, but we can’t guarantee an exact arrival because of the unpredictability of traffic, weather, and other surprises.

How many cleaning professionals will be cleaning my home?

Depending on the size of the home you can expect 1 or 2 people, and sometimes extra team members come when needed for larger homes and deep cleans. We are unable to promise or make guarantees around a specific number of cleaners.

Can your cleaning professionals use green and eco-friendly cleaning supplies?

Yes, upon request our cleaning professionals can use green, eco-friendly cleaning supplies that are safe, good for the environment, and don’t contain any harsh chemicals. Just add a note in the Special Instructions box when you make your booking.

Is a same-day cleaning service booking available?

Usually yes! We are proud of the fact that you can book a cleaning service with us on the same day. Just give us a call at 323-673-5132 and we will book you in for a time that suits you.

What is included in a Deep House Cleaning Service?

Whether it is your first time booking our service, or it has been more than 30 days since you have had a professional cleaning, we’ve got you covered! The Deep Cleaning option we offer is our most thorough and detailed cleaning, which involves a lot of attention to each cleaning task and a lot of detail work in your home.

What is included in a Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning Service?

Whether you’re moving into a house or moving out, we’ve got you covered! Our Move In/Move Out package is a deep cleaning of the entire home plus interior windows, interior cabinetry, and interior of oven, microwave, and refrigerator.

Do you provide cleaning for AirBnb and short-term / long-term rentals?

Yes, we do! Please see our booking page and then contact us with your request.

How much notice is required prior to booking house cleaning services? Do you book up fast?

To secure a spot you should book house cleaning services at least 3 business days in advance. We book up very quickly, especially on Saturdays, but we can often accommodate same day bookings.

Trust and Safety

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

Yes! We know letting someone into your home is a big deal, so we take a lot of care vetting our cleaners for safety and quality. They have all undergone extensive background and reference checks, as well as a strict interview process. All our cleaners are experienced professionals – the best in the Los Angeles area!

Zeifr Cleaning Service has one of the lowest staff attrition rates in our industry. On average staff working for Zeifr stay over 3 years and have cleaned over 6000 homes.

Will I always get the same cleaner?

We will make every effort to send the same cleaner(s) every time, but we can’t guarantee it. If one of our team members is sick or on vacation, we will be sure to send a substitute cleaner or team so that you will receive continued service. You can also request a cleaner by adding a note in the Special Instructions box when you make your booking. We will do our best to honor your request. If we must permanently change your cleaner due to staffing change, we will be sure to give you a heads up.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

If anything goes wrong during your appointment, please call the office at (626) 552-8099. If you are not happy with the quality of your cleaning for any reason, please call the office or email info@zeifr.com within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will make arrangements to come back and make things right.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We do not store any credit card numbers and our website is protected 100% by a Secure Socket Layer (SLL) security certificate that guarantees your credit card information is safe. Our credit card processor is powered by Stripe, which is PCI-certified and utilizes AES-256 encryption.

Are you insured?

Yes, our teams carry full liability insurance. If you need proof of insurance, please contact us, and we will gladly provide you with relevant documentation.

What Covid precautions are you taking?

Our teams sanitize and clean equipment between cleans in addition to sanitizing and disinfection high-touch surfaces in your home.

We monitor all the rules and follow all the recommended CDC guidelines for Los Angeles County and the surrounding areas.

If you would like your cleaners to wear a mask, please add a note in the Special Instructions box when you make your booking.

Payment & Policies

Do I need a credit card to make a booking?

Yes. We need your payment card information to make an appointment.

What is your 100% Satisfaction Guarantee?

Quite simply, if you are unsatisfied with your cleaning – let us know within 24 hours and we will come back and make it right. Please see our Terms of Service for additional details.

Do you have a referral program?

We are currently not offering a referral program. 

What if I do not want all my bedrooms cleaned?

We want to offer our customers a service that fits their situation. For bedrooms that don’t need cleaning, please indicate so when choosing “How many bedrooms needs cleaning” and add a quick note in the Special Instructions box when making your booking.

Do you have any service exclusions?

We do not perform the following services:

• Wet wiping light bulbs, due to risk of breakage

• Cleaning of walls and ceilings

• Cleaning of hoarding situations, high levels of trash and debris

• Cleaning of bodily fluids, heavy mold, toys, pet waste, or other biohazards

• Heavy lifting or move items 25 pounds or more (safety and insurance requirement)

• Stepping higher than 3 steps on a ladder (safety and insurance requirement)
